Marian High School

Bloomfield Hills, MI

Founder Hunter Maclean's high school, Marian was the first school to participate in a Warm Detroit collection drive. The generosity of the Marian community is legendary. The students--and their teachers!--took the mission of caring for Detroit's homeless to heart and filled giant boxes with donations.

Marian is a Catholic college preparatory school for young women, founded in 1959 and sponsored by the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The mission of Marian High School is to ensure, within a Christian environment, an excellent education built on a strong academic curriculum, which will enable young women to value human diversity and live responsible lives of leadership and action based on gospel values.
